New version of a neon tester

The Sonel VT-3 pocket non-contact voltage indicator is a newer version of the popular neon tester. The instrument is characterised by its rich functionality as well as its lightness and ease of use. The device is designed to detect alternating voltage in cables and electrical equipment. The indicator has a basic detection range of 100...1000 V, but the lower threshold can be lowered to 12 V by pressing a special button. Coloured LEDs on the tip of the instrument indicate the operating mode and the level of voltage detected.

Sonel VT-3 is a fully functional, professional instrument hidden in an inconspicuous form and compact dimensions. The highly durable IP 67 casing provides a high level of protection against various types of mechanical damage, drops and even against splashes of water. A particular advantage of this tool is its pocket-size design, which makes it extremely easy to store and transport. An additional advantage is the torch located on the front, which allows to illuminate the place of measurement. The instrument is also equipped with a rear torch for use when moving in poorly lit areas.

The Sonel VT-3 voltage indicator facilitates measurements even in narrow and hard-to-reach places, where testing with a regular meter could prove impossible. Application

The VT-3 indicator is a new face of the classic neon voltage indicator. Lightweight, functional and easy to use, it is applied to detect AC voltage in cables and electrical equipment. The basic detection range is 100...1000 V. However, the lower threshold can be decreased to 12 V by pressing a special button. Colorful LEDs hidden in the device tip will inform about the operating mode and the level of detected voltage.

Thanks to the improved design, the VT-3 maintains IP67 protection, and provides with durability and ergonomics. The built-in flashlight also plays an important role.

Residual-current device trip testing

In response to the needs of clients, our new P-line voltage testers allow to check the RCD in a fully controllable way. With buttons on both probes, the user can reduce the internal impedance of the instrument, which makes it possible to trip the RCD. Additionally, pressing both buttons activates an additional loadpoint - a vibration motor. In this way, voltage can be measured in a tested circuit with no impact of stray currents on the result.

Durability and comfort of use

The housing has been designed for use in harsh industrial environments, where the application of personal protection equipment, such as voltage insulation safety gloves, is required. At the same time, the instrument’s ergonomic shape allows for one hand use.

Versatility and safety

Voltage testers are provided with a set of test probes. The probes reduce metal exposure to 4 mm length, which eliminates the risk of accidental contact with the wrong conductor when performing measurements on a wire harness. Additional screw-on metal adapters are used for applications where tips with 4 mm diameter are required. It is particularly important for tests in electrical sockets, where the user must be sure that contact between the probe and the conductor is kept. All elements of the set are stored in a special case so the probe tips can be replaced when needed. The case also includes an adapter that is helpful for unlocking the UK-type sockets.

Compact and reliable industrial multimeter Sonel CMM-30 is a device combining versatility, modernity and extraordinary durability. The instrument houses 11 basic measuring functions. Additional functions such as the PEAK function (displaying the peak value of the measured signal), REL function (making relative measurements) and many others complement the capabilities of the device. All this contributes to the meter's highly versatile nature. Due to wireless communication with the app on your phone, it is possible to remotely read and record measurements from hard-to-reach locations. Specialist in residual current circuit breakers

The Sonel MRP-201 residual current circuit breaker meter is a specialist device for measuring all types of residual current circuit breakers - direct, short-delay, selective; types AC, A and B. It allows to measure tripping current, tripping time depending on differential current, resistance of protective conductor and contact voltage. Measurements can be performed individually or in series in automatic modes (all preset measurements for a given waveform or for all waveforms); simultaneous measurement of current and tripping time is also possible (with one RCD trip).

Application areas

The meter enables the user to measure the parameters of residual-current devices (RCDs), such as time or operating current. The device is useful for testing electrical systems with circuits protected by RCDs of AC, A and B type.

Increased resistance to environmental conditions

The meter will cope well in difficult environmental conditions. Protection against penetration of dust and water is ensured by a unique housing with a level of protection IP67.

Communication and software

You can easily transfer measurement data to your computer via wireless communication. In order to generate a report on measurements for electric shock protection, use Sonel Reports PLUS software. Saving the downloaded data to the simplest formats and printing is provided by free Sonel Reader software.
